GlassTerm ("the App") is an SSH terminal client for iOS developed by Kyrylo Holovchenko ("we", "us"). Your privacy is important to us. This policy explains what data we collect and how we use it.

Data We Collect

We do not collect any personal data. Specifically:

• No analytics or tracking SDKs are included in the App.
• No user accounts or registration are required.
• No data is sent to our servers — we have no servers.

Data Stored on Your Device

The App stores the following data locally on your device:

• Server configurations — hostnames, ports, usernames, and connection settings you enter.
• SSH keys — private keys are stored in the iOS Keychain, protected by the Secure Enclave when using biometric keys.
• Known hosts — SSH host key fingerprints for servers you have connected to.
• Snippets — command snippets you create.
• Port forwarding rules — forwarding configurations you define.
• App preferences — theme, font, scrollback settings.

All data remains on your device and is never transmitted to us.

Network Connections

The App connects only to SSH servers that you explicitly configure. All connections use the SSH protocol with encryption. We do not proxy, intercept, or monitor your connections.

File Uploads

When you upload files via SFTP, the data is sent directly from your device to the SSH server you are connected to. No data passes through any intermediary.

In-App Purchases

The App uses Apple's StoreKit for in-app purchases. Purchase transactions are handled entirely by Apple. We do not have access to your payment information.

Face ID

The App uses Face ID solely to authenticate access to SSH keys stored in the Secure Enclave. Biometric data is processed by iOS and never leaves your device. We have no access to biometric data.

Third-Party Services

The App does not use any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking services.

Children's Privacy

The App is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect data from children.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The latest version will always be available at this URL.
